GANGTOK & PELLING

Tour programme:

Day 1-Arrival and Transfer to Gangtok : Guest will be received from at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) transfer – Gangtok – (Gangtok the capital of Sikkim at an height of 1670 meters / 5480 feet and is the most visited spot of India. Nearly 135 kilometers 4 ½ – 5 hours drive – Check into hotel – Evening free to roam around M G Road (Mall) or local Shopping center – Over Night stay at Gangtok.

Day 2-Gangtok Local Sight Seeing (Half Day): After breakfast drive for the city tour of Gangtok – Sightseeing will be for half day hence the drive will be easy and comfortable.Visit to Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom, Research Institute of Tibetology, Do Drul Chorten (Stupa), Enchey Monastery, White Hall, Flower Show, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Tashi View Point, Banjhakri Falls, one of the finest falls close to Gangtok, etc – Back to hotel – Evening free to roam around M G Road (Mall) or local Shopping center – There are few discotheques in Gangtok to spend time – Over Night stay at Gangtok.

Day 3-Excursion to Tsangu Lake & Baba Mandir (Full Day) : A day excursion to Tsangu Lake (departure at 07- 7:30 AM hrs ) – situated at a height of 3,780 Mts. with an average depth of 50 ft & Baba Mandir – The shrine maid in memory of sepoy Harbahajan Singh, Back to Gangtok. Evening free. Over night stay at hotel. Note : Nathu La Pass to RCPublic of China is nearly 20 kilometers and is optional tour on Extra Cost( if permit is available).Over Night stay at Gangtok.

Day 4-Transfer to Pelling : After breakfast, transfer to Pelling (6000 ft / 118 kms / 04 hrs) Yuksom, Ravangla, Rinchenpong and Namchi are some of the tourist spot nearby – Check into hotel – Evening free to roam around the small settlement – Over Night stay at Pelling.

Day 5-Pelling Local Sighteening: After breakfast go for full day sightseeing around Pelling covering Rimbi Waterfalls,Khecheopalri Lake & Kanchenjunga Water Falls. After lunch you cover Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdentse Ruins,Skywalk New Helipad & View Tower. Over night at Hotel in Pelling.

Day 6-Departure – Pelling to Siliguri –After breakfast transfer to Siliguri / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / – Nearly 135 kilometers 4 ½ – 5 hours drive – Guest are advised to start early and not to rush – Forwarding Journey.
